The Development School (TDS) Africa invests in young people who are passionate about development in Africa and accompanies them on a journey to address the pressing challenges of our time. Founded to harness Africa’s growing youth population as a force for positive change, we provide our students with formal education and practical opportunities to (i) turn their ideas into locally relevant innovations and (ii) build meaningful careers in global development.

The Global Development Professional Program (GDPP) is a certificate program designed to equip early to mid-level professionals with the practical skills, critical thinking, and global perspectives needed for rewarding careers in the Global Development field.
We enhance employability for our students through placement opportunities, field work, professional skills workshops, lectures and mentorship opportunities with industry experts.
